The work is usually done before 1 o'clock, so that afternoons are free for various trips or other leisure activities. In the evenings, each camp arranges its own program of leisure and creative activities, including discussions, songs, dances and games. Weekends are free and allow time for excursions to various local attractions. Project partners are responsible for your room and board. Accommodation is usually simple - a modest rental house, a guesthouse and host family. You will get your meals at your work place and/or at the place where you will be staying. Volunteers are responsible for their own cleaning and chores. One volunteer is appointed camp-leader, usually together with a co-leader. Having a leader however does not mean, that she or he is organizing everything for the volunteers. In most cases the volunteers are responsible together for problem solving and decision-making at their workcamp. Share your thoughts with the others. Talk to your Camp-Leader or the workcamp/Project Head.
